West Temple Sheen
A complete renovation of a post-war bungalow into a contemporary family home.

Rooted in the spirit of the original structure, this transformed bungalow embraces a warm, contemporary aesthetic that reflects both its heritage and its modern reinvention.

‍

At the heart of the home, a new open-plan kitchen and dining area forms a central hub for family life — functional, inviting, and connected. A calm palette of natural materials defines the space: warm timber tones, soft stone surfaces, and tactile finishes create an atmosphere of understated comfort. Large sliding doors extend the interior into the garden, allowing natural light and movement between inside and out.

‍

Throughout, the design balances familiarity with freshness. Red brick details and slate-toned accents nod to the surrounding neighbourhood, reinterpreted through a softer, more refined lens. Bespoke joinery brings purpose and precision, while sculptural lighting and carefully selected furnishings lend rhythm and composure.

‍

The result is a thoughtfully curated family home — calm, timeless, and adaptable — where every element supports the gentle flow of contemporary living.
